About me
Olivia Wills, MSW, LCSW, (she/her) received her Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago, her undergraduate degree from Princeton University. Her professional interests include supporting college students with extreme experiences, Compassion Focused Therapy for Psychosis, individual and group psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, crisis intervention, treatment of depression and anxiety, grief, and life transition issues. She identifies as a third culture kid (TCK), having grown up in different countries (e.g. India, Sri Lanka, Belgium, the former Yugoslavia) and attending her undergraduate degree as an international student. Olivia is a founding member of the USC Department of Psychiatry Psychosis Consultation space where clinicians can think critically and compassionately about psychosocial approaches to support folks distressed with their extreme experiences. Olivia is passionate about helping helpers to access their best, most compassionate, and nonjudgmental selves when serving folks with extreme experiences, and so presents on this topic to college counseling centers and community mental health agencies.
