About me
I grew up primarily in the Midwest before moving to the East Coast, where my husband and I brought up our two daughters. After retiring from a thirty-five-year career writing about business and technology, the last 14 of them with IBM, I took creative writing workshops to help me write a memoir about long-buried feelings related to my older sister's serious mental illness. The book has been named one of the top 100 Indie Books of 2023 by Kirkus Reviews. I have served on the board of directors of an intergenerational housing organization and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for Southwest CT. I love swimming, reading, and frequent visits with my four grandchildren.
